Advanced Cataract Surgery

Dr. Philip Gabriele specializes in treating the most advanced and challenging cataract cases using the most sophisticated techniques. These include patients who have diabetes, corneal transplants, glaucoma, previous retinal surgery, previous refractive surgery (LASIK and RK), and severe physical disabilities.

He is a national cataract instructor and lectures at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is the only Michiana surgeon skilled in the use of the Toric and Multifocal IOL to reduce his cataract patient's dependence on glasses post operatively.
